If you want an assurance that long distance relationship can lead to marriage, Racheal, who recently in previous year got married to her better half, was a stitch in time

On December 11th, 2021, Racheal Nakaweesa introduced her other better half, Paddy Musulira to her parents, relatives ,family and friends at a customary wedding ceremony.

According to Racheal, the two “met in 2013. I was in senior six by that time. I had gone to visit my elder sister in Kibuye and they were workmates with my Mr. Paddy.”

“Our friendship started from there,” Racheal said.

“Mr .Paddy working from abroad, it wasn’t easy but as far as we are both believers, we chose to put God at the centre of everything and He gave us the faith and patience to remain true to one another for 8years.”

On August 2021, Paddy resolved that it was Racheal he wanted to spend the rest of his life with so he asked for her hand in marriage and went down on her knees for a proposal which she gave a yes too.

Knowing that there was no reason stopping us ,whatsoever ,cultural ,forbidding them to get married. Racheal said ,her parents excused them the official kukyala and were traditionally engaged in mityana


After a week later, on Saturday, December 18th 2021, the couple “said I do” at Grace Cathedral in Ntinda on a lovely white wedding function. They then welcomed their honorable guests to an entertaining reception at Eliana Hotel, Ntinda.
